Aimless 05:04
I keep on trying But I never seem to find the answers I know you think that I should stay And live my life like all the others But this dead-end job is going nowhere And I feel I should be out there So when I leave no turning back 'Cause there's got to be something better Something better I'll take my chances Do it my way Living free Out on the highway I'd rather search around this world For anything it has to offer And though it may seem kinda aimless This is not what I call living So call me selfish Call me lazy Call me childish Call me crazy Call me crazy I'm on a journey with a new destination I'm on a mission for my own revelation And all I know is that I need more reflection So call it what you will, a permanent vacation I'll pack my bags and hit the road With nothing but my sense of longing Leave all my doubts Leave all my debt Hell why not leave all of my belongings And though it may seem kinda aimless This not what I call living So call me selfish Call me lazy Call me childish Call me crazy Call me crazy I'm on a journey with a new destination I'm on a mission for my own revelation And all I know is that I need more reflection So call it what you will, a permanent vacation

Here's a picture of my new wife Take a look at my precious child What do you think of the new house Mines the one with the view of the city life Take a spin in my new ride It's fully loaded and 4-wheel drive I have it all and I'm doing fine I'll be in debt until the end of my life 'Cause I'm just like you Livin' out my dreams Make my way from scene to scene There's nothing new for you to see Another sheep at the end of the street Keepin' up with the Joneses I mow my lawn in a suit and tie I gotta better I gotta look wise I gotta seem like I'm doin' alright Wake up at 5 to hit the grind A cup of coffee for traffic at 9 It seems unlikely that I'm living a lie So I'll play this game until the end of my time 'Cause I'm just like you Livin' out my dreams Make my way from scene to scene There's nothing new for you to see Another sheep at the end of the street We're all living in a social ocean Everybody's going through the motion So we believe And we pretend It's how to live so it never ends 'Cause I'm just like you Livin' out my dreams Make my way from scene to scene There's nothing new for you to see Another sheep at the end of the street...

Pick yourself up off the ground Get yourself out of this place Breathe in the air Take a walk around Point yourself toward a brand new day Tomorrow could be different Or it could be more of the same Stop the excuses Make that change Believe in yourself to find a better way A way to your freedom A way to your bliss A way to your inner peace Away from this mess No one else for you to blame No need for blame at all Just change the game Change your mind Open yourself to a new way of life It's all a matter of mind over matter Just keep your eye on that prize Pick up the pace Never let it fade Don't let the bad thoughts get in the way of The way to your freedom The way to your bliss The way to your inner peace Away from this mess

I used to get out and about Roamed these streets on rollerblades Guitar on my back, long-ass hair And not a care for yesterdays I remember starting my first rock band We stayed up and jammed 'til 4am We thought we had it all figured out And life would always be the same Well I miss that old apartment man That place sure was a killer pad It was cheap just like the beer we drank But more than just a place to crash I often think about those times we had And how to get those feelings back once again I really wish there was an easy way To live life like we did back then If I could go back to those days Knowing what I know today I wouldn't change a goddamn thing I'd keep it all just the same For nostalgia's sake All those times we shared at Eagle Ridge We could really see it from there Hell, cement city never looked so good As when living close to Fry Street Fair It was a time when we all needed change So the music broke out and it was so raw It was much more than your average twang And so much more than radio pop It was then that we all realized That this town woke up and it came alive With a new attitude and mental vibe Another party every night With a life so open and a life so free With everything we'd ever need Nothing would ever make me believe That this time would pass eventually If I could go back to those days Knowing what I know today I wouldn't change a goddamn thing I'd keep it all just the same For nostalgia's sake

Change 05:03
In the spring when things come alive All is blooming in a sea of sunrise It's all around we cannot deny The choice is ours if it lives or it dies We need to ask the harder questions Will we embrace the next generation Before the fall it has begun Before it all comes undone It's up to us if we want to try But only if we open our eyes It's time for all to realize This world is calling for change Our hopes are still out there waiting We keep repeating our broken ways Will we not learn from our mistakes We need to see this moment in time As a time to heal no time to unwind A time to wake our sleeping minds Before we lose our fragile lives We keep fighting ourselves and always losing They have us trapped in a state of dillusion We are so blind to our own destruction And our right to choose us just an illusion This world is begging for change Our hopes are still out there waiting We keep repeating our broken ways We never learn from our mistakes We never learn from our mistakes We never learn When will we ever learn

So long Moving on Saying goodbye never felt so right I wish you nothing but the best that you could ever hope to find Perhaps in another life Objects in the mirror are much smaller than they once appeared You should be happy now that we're through So pack up all your crap for some other dude Cause when you're gone you can look back on The time you learned what not to do When it's too late And when you're gone you can look back on But you won't find me in the wake Cause it's too late And when you're gone you can look back on but It's too late Too many times Oh how I've tried To make this work and to make it last Instead of changing you stayed the same Cause all you ever do is remind me of the past So put on a show Act all surprised But that look in your face tells me the truth from a lie And though I'd love to stay here and chat I've got bigger plans So that's that Cause when you're gone you can look back on The time you learned what not to do When it's too late But you won't find me in the wake Cause it's too late And when you're gone you can look back on but It's too late

You claim to have second sight and it's guiding your way Gemini in the sky determines your fate And all of these lies about the skies have been uncovered Yet we try to religionize each other So we label our gods as we see fit And we hold on to the claims of a prophet Won't you tell me my lucky number What do my palms have to offer Pseudoscience makes no difference in my life with real decisions Pseudoscience makes no difference in my life with consequences Religion does nothing but to foster hate So who does your preacher wish to exonerate The answers you feed on are written in ink So you kneel by your bed beg and plead for forgiveness And you vote for the people of your faith Cause you believe that they'll do everything that they say Of course you can exercise your right to believe But your preacher can't exorcise your demons and fiends Pseudoscience makes no difference in my life of independence Pseudoscience makes no difference in my life without religion Pseudoscience Pseudoscience Pseudoscience Pseudoscience

Fly 04:24
Tried to laugh and little and I tried to cry But I just couldn't get it to come out So I might decide to get high for tonight And just fly I feel like I just need some time To chill out relax unravel unwind Anxiety is starting to grind Depression's always waiting in line It knows how to find me It defines me and it controls my life Just take a look and you will see In between the clouds of green Too far to run Too high to climb Too deep to swim Better to fly Trapped at home Secluded alone We spent two years getting used to it all The lonely glow from our social phones Breaking down our social norms And our loss of hope With nowhere to go Sometimes we need to drift away And change the way we look at things From a different space Some other place Outside ourselves and our mental state of every day When it's all the same Just take a look and you will see In between the clouds of green Too far to run Too high to climb Too deep to swim Better to fly Tried to laugh and little and I tried to cry But I just couldn't get it to come out So I might decide to get high for tonight And just fly Just fly away

Reality 04:16
Say anything It doesn't matter what you believe The world is sleeping now They're all living in a dream The words you say are true But nobody's listening Even if it's loud and clear They just want to disagree Reality is weighing down on me You tried to pull me into your fantasies But in the end the only thing we see Are the differences between you and me So here I am I am not your enemy I'm so tired of fighting And this pointless bickering Divide this coutry Break up our families Just draw the line And we'll take our leave Reality is weighing down on me You tried to pull me into your fantasies But in the end the only thing we see Are the differences between you and me If I am woke Then you're asleep It really is that easy Can't you see The lie you're living in Is a path to misery There is no clarity When you're a slave to your beliefs Reality is weighing down on me You tried to pull me into your fantasies But in the end the only thing we see Are the differences between you and me

No longer contain This silent rage Although they'd like to see us enslaved No longer obey We'll no longer play All these stupid little twisted games They want to control us And they want to own us As if they have the right to your claim Break down our hopes Afraid of your votes They'll never stop until they've bought up everything Out of money Out of time Out of water Out of wine Out of passion And the will to survive Out of sight Out of mind They'll take it all And leave you behind They really don't care if you live or if you die Watching and spying to keep us buying Politicians are paid to keep us in line Keep us blind And keep confined to silence They keep us working for longer hours For wages lower than life requires They want you to struggle just to get by The prosperity for which you seek Was never about the things you need When money is the thing you need They want you to think it's generosity That pays your way and keeps you leaving But why would they care from a yacht in the middle of the sea (Why would they fucking care) Out of money Out of time Out of water Out of wine Out of passion And the will to survive Out of sight Out of mind They'll take it all And leave you behind They really don't care if you live or if you die
